Throughout AntiquityComplete.com, the traditional ‘BC/AD’ convention is replaced by a continuous ‘xx-00-yy’ format. This resolves the graphic ‘Two Year Problem,’ which occurs because BC ticks mark the beginning of a year whereas AD ticks mark the end. Placing six-month minor ticks within the major one-year ticks on either side of the ’00’ marker eliminates the ‘Two Year Problem’ and justifies the introduction of the ’00’ marker.
